International Rural Nursing Conference 2016 Opportunity to Publish

There are two opportunities to publish in Online Journal of Rural Nursing and Health Care.

Opportunity to Publish Conference Abstract in OJRNHC

The Rural Nurse Organization (RNO) Board of Directors and theInternational Rural Health and Rural Nursing Research Conferenceplanning committee are pleased to offer you an opportunity to have your abstract published in the Online Journal of Rural Nursing and Health Care. OJRNHC is an open source online journal. There is no fee required to publish and the stipulation for at least one author to be an RNO member is waived for this conference proceedings publication. In order to have your abstract published in the Journal you will need to do the following no later than September 15, 2015:

  1. Send an email to Pam Stewart Fahs at psfahs@binghamton.edu with the subject line: Abstract Proceedings Rural Conference.
  2. In the body of the email please state:
    1. That you would like to have the attached abstract published in the Conference Proceedings Issue of the OJRNHC.
    2. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  3. Please attach a Word document that has all of the following information:
    1. Abstract Title
    2. Author information for EACH author to include:
      1. Names, Credentials, Position, Affiliation and email address (for example: Pamela Stewart Fahs, RN, PhD, Professor, Binghamton University, Decker School of Nursing, psfahs@binghamton.edu).
    3. Abstract
      1. Funding source should be noted at the bottom of the Abstract.

N.B. Please note these Podium Abstracts have been peer reviewed for the conference and will not be separately peer reviewed for this publication.

Opportunity to Publish Manuscript in OJRNHC

The Online Journal of Rural Nursing and Health Care (OJRNHC), the official publication of the Rural Nurse Organization (RNO) would be pleased to review manuscripts regarding health care of rural populations, rural health issues and /or rural nursing. To submit a manuscript to the Journal please do the following:

  1. Access the RNO website at http://www.RNO.org.
  2. Click on the journal tab.
  3. Follow the directions in Information for Authors.

OJRNHC uses a blind peer review system. There is no cost for submission of manuscripts, however, at least one author must be a member of the RNO at the time of submission and publication.
